Really absorbing tales of New York characters & their vermin with even classier French country folk & their elevated, bees with suicidal tendencies.

Wow. Does anyone contact the Mairie about the bees? The citizenry needs assistance!

i don’t want exterminators anywhere near this problem so will keep trying the beekeeper. we are having rain today so no activity but if the girls come back we’ll get to the bottom of it.

Yikes. I used to score a weight appropriate Benadryl to keep on hand in case one of my cats got stung. I still do for my dog. Bee stings can create havoc. Doubtful young Lucy & Eleanor have heart murmurs or hyperthyroidism but as they say, check the Benadryl administration with the girls’ vet for assurances. You may know all this, tho.

Yea, I’ve lived with all of the disease carrying critters mentioned. Since torching the place isn’t an option, my LA apartment had carefully placed streams of boric acid outlining my place. Doesn’t matter. Once they make an entrance, they’re squatters. I hate killing bees and especially hate killing those most industrious organized ants. Up until forty-ish years ago, I cultivated an ant farm. They lived long and prospered.

Another great post, A. Keep ‘em coming.

thankfully these bees are very non-aggressive. they stung my friend, which hardly bothered him. but that’s a good idea because things could change. what’s weight appropriate for a cat of 4 kilos (i have forgotten pounds)?

I think 8 lbs.

Cats will swat and attempt to swallow anything flying so

stings frequently occur on the face. If the face starts swelling-1/4 tab. But as they say, followup with your vet. Your girls are too young to be hyper-thyroid but if they were to go on Tapozole - I’d proceed with caution any Benedryl.

Benedryl is good stuff to keep in the house esp for any sentient being getting stung. Spiders and cats can get into dustups, too.
