I feel I should note here that I do not eat meat at every meal. This is a really meaty chapter, but it's sort of by chance. Anyway.
Meat, notwithstanding, I really enjoyed this chapter. Mouth-watering descriptions and ‘life in France’ fantasies--pleasures.
"I did not go so far as to do my errands with a wicker basket, but I was marinating in the bougie wet dream of small producers sold in quaint surroundings and I was aux anges." This is a quotation for the ages!
