It’s impossible to be a casual reader of anything written by Alexandra, particularly when she writes about family. In the instance of this post, she goes deep, but I learn so much about how the wheels turn in that amazing mind and soul, and the bruises she acquired along the journey. I was there to witness some of them and able to soothe a few, but I’m sending big love right this minute.

I begin to discover that truth. Life is not all rainbows and unicorns and, in the end, it might be more important what we overcome as what we achieve. Alexandra it appears accomplishes both.

Hi Alex, came across your shout out for me on a recent post about Astrology... thanks so much! That was indeed a pleasant surprise.

I am on Substack myself, but in a half-assed sort of way at present.

'An Astrologer's Musings' if you want to drop by. I've just subscribed to yours.

Greetings from Scotland! you've still to come and visit me in Troon Towers...🙋‍♀️

Great piece. I’d like to (gently) push back on this: “He got the business part wrong. I haven’t got an entrepreneurial bone in my body.”

I think everyone, every writer, who starts a Substack (especially with a paid subscription option) is entrepreneurial.

Thank you for the good word. I have positively hidden behind the institutions that I report for. I am introverted and extremely clunky at self-promotion. I would be more than happy to never think about anything but writing. Current conditions require much more engagement. It does not come naturally!

South Coast Plaza, yo! This is such a poignant and fabulously unexpected portrait of your dad. I can only imagine what people thought when he busted out their full chart on a cocktail napkin.
